I , Dan, have just come back from the Florida healing revival meetings with Todd Bentley. We are all excited about what God is doing and I want to share with you some prophetic insights and encounters that we have had here in Toronto related to what is happening.
At the end of February Sandra Long was speaking at TACF and shared a dream of a wave which she had just had. I shared this at our PIH leaders meeting on the last night at the Hemel Hempstead, England gathering:
Sandra:
My Dream was that I was lying in bed and all of a sudden felt the room rocking. I looked out and noted that the tide had come right up to the hotel. It was very calm. We got up and went outside because there was an excitement of what was to come. When we got outside my son, Stephen and Jeremy Sinnott were there. Jeremy was wearing a wet suit ready to tackle the wave. He was really excited. We looked in the distant and saw a huge deep blue wave. At that point I had already pulled some chairs and a table to sit and watch but the rest of them ran right into it because it was going to be fun. I looked at it wanting to go, but didn't know whether I should. I was feeling fearful because of the bigness of it, but so desperately wanted to go.
My dream ended. I have had dreams about waves before, but always being it by the crest of the wave on shore. What made this wave different was I could walk out and would have to make a choice at that point whether to jump in or sit down.
Then in Israel at the beginning of March Sandra had another dream:
The dream was: I was in a boat with some people and looked out the window of the boat. I saw a huge wave coming towards the boat and yelled "shut the windows". I sat down and waited for the impact of the wave. When I didn’t feel anything I looked out the other side and saw the water level coming up to the windows of the boat. At that point the wave literally turned the direction of the boat. I realized that the wave literally came under the boat and moved it in a different direction.
Another encounter happened to me, Dan, in St. Stephen's, New Brunswick, as I was a speaker at a Catch the Fire conference there:
On April 5th in the morning while I was still asleep I had a very powerful, pronounced dream where Bill Johnson was preaching very forcefully, "TODAY, this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing." For those of us who know Bill he is usually a calm, yet profound teacher. Yet this time he was preaching like a wild-eyed Texas preacher with overwhelming excitement. All he said was this phrase from Luke 4:21. While I was in that wonderful state of enjoying the dream in my spirit, I heard a click and my room got full of light. I opened my eyes (I'm no longer dreaming now) and realize my floor lamp (which was about 10 feet away from the bed) had been turned on. I was in awe as I realized that an angel had just turned on the light. (I believe he was confirming the word from Bill). I also noticed the clock was at 7:30. I laid there for a while taking in the wonder of what had just happened. My brain then clicked in and I wondered if there was a timer connected to the floor lamp. I got out of bed and checked all the wires to all the outlets and didn't find a timer. I quickly got dressed and ran out to ask the receptionist if the motel used timers on their lights. As I went out the door Art McDonald, our PIH Maritimes coordinator was leaving his room. I told him what had happened. We went to the receptionist and asked about the timers, but she told us the motel didn't use them. I informed her that an angel had turned on my light. She seemed very pleased. Art then stated he believed the 7:30 signified Acts 7:30, since it was an act of the Holy Spirit. We went back to the room and looked up Acts 7:30:
"And when 40 years had passed an Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire in a bush"!!!!!!!
I believe the Lord is confirming we are in a new day, a day of fulfillment of Luke 4: 18 & 19.

Also, Buck Eaton, our PIH pastor from Houston had an encounter in Florida: Buck shares:
Here is the story of how Matthew 14:14 came about in regards to the Florida Outpouring. While at the Florida Outpouring with Dan Slade and Peter Dresser, I felt compelled to go to the church and wait in line in the early afternoon. Dan dropped me off at about 1:30, there were about 50 people waiting. While waiting, I got out my Bible; I had been reading the book of Matthew and had come to Chapter 14. I just read it, looking for anything the Holy Spirit may prompt in me. As I read verse 13 in the NASB, I read, "...they followed Him on foot from their cities." I felt a nudge from the Spirit that that was what we are doing now, following Jesus to Florida. I continued reading the chapter. I felt the Lord tell me to go back and read that part again. As I read Verse 13 and 14, my heart leapt when I read in V. 14, "When He went ashore.." Suddenly, I saw the wave that has been prophesied about for so long hitting the shore. Instantly, I knew that Jesus was the WAVE! He had come ashore in Florida and was fulfilling the rest of verse 14, which says from the beginning, "When He went ashore, He saw a large crowd, and felt compassion for them and healed their sick." As I meditated on this, the Lord spoke to my heart and said that the events in His life were prophetic to the events that would happen in the church. After the service, going back to the hotel, I told Dan and Peter about this. Dan asked what the scripture was, I wasn't sure of the exact verse, so I looked it up and it was Matthew 14:14. Dan had been talking about double 7s being a prophetic sign and that it had been 14 years since the renewal broke out in Toronto. When we discovered that Matthew 14:14 described what was happening in Florida, then the double 7s and 14 years since the birth of renewal in Toronto matched, it seemed to prophetically fit together. As we spoke about this further, every time I tried to say Matthew, the name John would come out of my mouth. It happened several times, so Dan looked up John 14:14. Jesus is quoted, "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it."
As most of you know John has been blessing this and in contact with Todd on a regular basis. It is exciting to know He is the wave who is here, and we can all jump in.

Our time in Sapiranga Brazil was primarily with PIH pastors at a regional gathering where the Lord brought great blessing and encouragement. Vania and Sadi Rorato, the regional coordinators, are doing an amazing job.

The second trip to Australia, just three days after returning from Brail was to the Gold Coast to help PIH pastors Nuno and Amanda Marques host a Todd Bentley conference and present PIH to the interested pastors and leaders there. About 1500 hungry Aussies attended and God did some powerful miracles of physical healing and deliverance from oppression.

One rough older surfer who walked in one evening off the street was healed of a bad back injury when prayed for at the front. The Spirit hit him hard and he fell down and trembled on the floor for a long time. When he finally came around he asked what was happening to him. The man who was praying for him said its Jesus touching him and healing him at which point he was lead into a personal relationship with Jesus. When Todd then interviewed him his comment was typical of where he was coming from. He said “man this is good s**t.” God is beginning something profound on the Gold Coast of Australia and (PIH) Revolution Church could be at the centre of it.

From there I went to northern Washington State US meeting Sharon at the Seattle Airport. We drove north to a resort/conference centre where the first ever total PIH West Coast gathering was held. Pastors and ministry leaders representing 15 west coast churches gathered to be blessed an encouraged in the Holy Spirit while transparently sharing what was happening in their lives and ministries. It was probably the best regional gathering I’ve ever attended. Alf and Pam Dyck are doing an amazing job on the west coast. God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit are so very very good.

We have two more regional gatherings coming in the next two months: the Great Lakes Gathering from April 21-23 and the East Coast Gathering from May 13-16.

What a week! Many said it was not only the best PIH conference ever but it was the best conference they have ever been to.

The International Partners in Harvest this year was as the Brits say “over the top.” The first evening meeting John Arnott spoke on Gideon’s 300, as he experienced miraculous victory because they drank their fill with their faces down in the river. Dan Slade shared about the wine of the Lord finishing off with a powerful revolving fire tunnel. Many including myself had a hard time getting to our cars, let alone driving home due to the powerful touch of the Lord. What a way to start a conference with the theme “Light the Fire Again.”

Each morning Mark Davidson, PIH pastor from White Oak Texas led us in a powerful study on the preparation of the Bride from the Song of Solomon. After three sessions we were all far more in love with the Bridegroom, Jesus and our own wives or husbands than before. It was like the world and the flesh were being washed out of our hearts and minds as each session progressed.

I spoke on Tuesday evening on staying on track and going deeper into what the Lord has commission us with, not allowing our FIRE values to become our mental orthodoxy but realizing that they are to be daily experienced. Chester and Betsy Kylstra helped us understand and identify the ways the devil is hitting pastors and leaders with assignments and what we can do to overcome them with God’s available authority. Many were set free to overcome as a result. Duncan Smith spoke the last evening from Proverbs 14:4 about how the Holy Spirit can bring about a mess but He is also our strength.

The worship was lead primarily by worship teams from the Metro Detroit Church and the Freedom Centre in Mississauga. It was totally God centered and we were drawn into His throne room.

The icing on the cake for the week occurred Friday morning as we gathered in small groups of 5 to pray, prophesy, serve communion, anoint and wash each other’s feet. The Father’s tangible love ministered powerfully to each one – what a week!

Some very notable memories include an evangelistic outreach in a Muslim village which we reached by driving over some of the roughest dirt tracks I’ve ever been on. When we got to the village we found that the Jesus Film couldn’t be shown due to equipment malfunctioning. Showing the film had been plan A, so we went to plan B, just being full of the Holy Spirit and letting Him love on the villagers through physical healings, short gospel messages, smiles, and other manifestations of the Holy Spirit which seemed to win their trust.

These poor people, subsistent farmers, lost the crops that they depend upon to feed themselves due to the flooding that Mozambique has just experienced. The only crop that made it through the floods was a large plant which has edible roots. It blew us away when they loaded the team with the potato like roots to say, “Thank you.” So another church was planted as a result of that visit.

Heidi and Rolland’s work in Mozambique is growing quickly in the midst of much opposition, persecution, and dangers from violent attacks. The 40 acre plot of land in Pemba which Heidi showed me two years ago is now a major campus which houses the orphanage, a Pastor’s Training School, a grade school, and Wholly Given Missions School.

In Durban , South Africa we saw East Indian pastors respond with great enthusiasm toward the idea of doing a one week ILSOM next July. They reached this decision after a session which Duncan and I did, an overview of our FIRE values/commissions. Their response was, “We had no idea that this is what Toronto is all about. If this is what this revival is all about, we want it!” Several pastors there had been told false and terrible things about TACF and PIH.

Our ILSOM leadership school held in Pretoria was attended by 270 pastors and leaders. As the Brits would say, “It was over the top.” God’s Presence and physical healing moved powerfully during the 5 days that we were all together. The team was composed of John and Carol, Duncan and I, plus a team that came over to minister along side of us.

The ILSOM was followed by a weekend conference in Johannesburg where 500 or so precious, hungry people showed up to be deeply touched by the Lord.

In other news, Fred & Sharon are back from the US and are gearing up for a UK trip in March while Alyn & AJ leave to go to Japan with John & Carol and Rolland Baker where they are going to meet with the Youth for a youth rally.
